Pamela J. Gordon

Pamela J. Gordon is President and Founder of Technology Forecasters Inc., and Lead Consultant for TFI Supply Chain and TFI Environment — helping technology companies create more efficient supply chains and reduce environmental impact profitably. She specializes in sustainability and the electronics contract manufacturing industry. Ms. Gordon is a popular keynote speaker, having presented at high-tech conferences in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Her insights on environmental sustainability and the electronics industry have appeared in nearly 1,000 articles, she has been interviewed on numerous television and radio programs, and she guest lectures at numerous universities.

Before founding Technology Forecasters Inc., in 1987, Ms. Gordon was a senior analyst at McGrall Hill’s electronics industry market-research firm Gnostic Concepts Inc. Her 2001 book, Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment, features 17 electronics companies around the world; it has been required reading at the University of California Haas School of Business. She was also a contributor to the book Positively M.A.D.: Making a difference in your organizations, communities, and the world, authoring the chapter “Creative Convincing for Corporate Change.”

Ms. Gordon is the recipient of the 2011 Sustainability Summit Electronics Day Community Award at Electronics Day (held at the Productronica Trade Fair, Munich, Germany), given in recognition of “the person who has most generously dedicated time and effort to support the development of a legacy of environmental stewardship in the [electronics] industry.”
